Our mission is to provide a fun way to inspire others to be kind while combating negativity with acts of positivity in local communities.
The Kindness Rally is a great way to bring the community together for friendly, competitive fun focusing on random acts of kindness and good deeds.
The thing is, kindness really is contagious. As we head into our 5th year, The Kindness Rally has become a well-known international event.
2016: 1 community , 6 teams involved (Redford, MI); 250 acts of kindness completed
2017: 7 communities, around 30 teams across the state of Michigan; 1,200 acts of kindness completed.
2018: 77 teams involved throughout Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Colorado and Australia; over 3,002 acts of kindness completed.
2019: A whopping 162 teams from Australia, Canada and the US! The use of our mobile application allowed higher participation from around the world. In total 10,165 acts of kindness were completed!
2020 & 2021: The world needed kindness more than ever - and our volunteers stepped up to the challenge! With a hybrid event allowing for safe, virtual participation 7,208 impactful acts of kindness were completed during the Coronavirus pandemic (2020: 3,476, 2021: 3,732)
2022: Kindness continued this year as we completed 3,201 acts of kindness, and had a new winning team from Wyoming!
This brings our seven-year total to 25,026 acts of kindness completed!
